Conformance status

It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. CESSCO is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Some of the site’s Main Accessibility Features

  • Structural and navigational aids have been incorporated such as properly ordered content headings, landmarks, and “skip navigation” links to bypass groups of links on a page and jump directly to main content.
  • Images and other non-text elements have alternative text associated with them.
  • All features are functional with a variety of input methods including mouse, keyboard, and touch.
  • Good color contrast between foreground text and background elements has been implemented for users with low vision.
  • Forms have proper labels and include instructions where necessary.
